VBS 2014 Testimonies
“VBS 2014 was yet another success with the new incoming faces from the surrounding neighborhood. Not only were the lessons down to the basics, but it gave the kids the true insight and it was simple enough for them to understand. The kids loved the full lunch meals everyday. It was a blessing to see them the next day, anxious to see what they’ll be doing that day. Puppets seemed to draw their attention because of the dramatic and funny voices behind them. Not only funny but it taught a great life lesson at their level. Like always every kid couldn’t wait for water day! I can’t wait for next year!

“This was the first time I have been a part of a VBS and it was an awesome experience. I loved the idea bringing together the daily teachings with the building up of a Lego man as the days passed. I was thankful that I was able to give to the children by teaching them the word of God. I had taught the 7-8 yr. old age range. It was also physically exhausting; as each day went by I became tired. But that didn’t stop me because my love for the kids drove me pass my exhaustion. We had taught on the importance of Love, Forgiveness, Prayer and Giving. It was a blessing for my wife and I because we had noticed some of the neighborhood kids that had invited to come had came. Overall it was FUN!”

“The kids were very well cared for. Every where I looked they were always having lots of fun through games, activities and importantly the teachings of the word of God. Everything came together because it was well planned. It’s an awesome program! Another thing that blessed me was the way everyone worked together, always ready to help each other and the kids. “Summer Fun Under the SON”

Wow, what an awesome week! We were truly blessed to have all these beautiful children each day. We registered with over 80 children and ended up with 108 children overall who attended. While we were so busy from the first child to the last child leaving, they would always thank us for everything and what a great time they are having. We taught them four key words; Character, Listen, Pray, and Love. Each day we done praise and worship and ministered with our funny puppets. They also had created awesome arts and crafts and enjoyed them. On Wednesday, we had Kite Day, where each child brought their kites to fly. It was so awesome time when the children had a great fellowship with each other and the staff. On Thursday, we had Water day. What a great way to end our V.B.S.! The children had a blast when they were ready to get soaked by a visit of the Farmington Fire Department. They enjoyed seeing the children having fun. Overall, we all had a great time in God! We hope and pray each one will continue to follow His Word and walk faithfully in His Love. Thank you for all who donated and volunteered their time. May God bless each one of you!
