WHAT WE BELIEVE

Here’s what we believe and what we understand

to be the key to our belief in the One True and Living God.

THE BIBLE is God’s Word to all people. It was given to us by the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is truth without error and is relevant to our daily lives.

GOD is the One True and Living God, the creator of the universe. He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, and Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. He is our Father. He is loving and faithful to His people and His promises.

JESUS CHRIST is the Son of God. He came to the world to save us from the sinful lifestyle and redeems us with the price He paid on the cross for us. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life.

MAN is made in the image of God and is His ultimate creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated through sinful disobedience. Every human personality is uniquely created, and is worthy of respect and love.

SALVATION is a gift from God. The Blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, provides a way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ fro their sins. It cannot be earned through our won efforts but is freely given.

ETERNITY is where man was created to exist forever when Jesus Christ returns for us on the day of Judgement. Man will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with God is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
