Word of life Christian Center originated in July, 1996, under the direction of the Holy Spirit and the willing hearts of Pastors George and Barbara Ford. The Spirit of God guided them from Columbus, Ohio to Farmington, New Mexico to begin a church that focused on the needs of the people in the Four Corners Area. Spreading truth and saving souls is the heart of their mission and helping people understand that having a relationship with God will be the most important decision made in their lifetime. 

Word of Life Christian Center started in a renovated video store on Bloomfield Highway that seated 125 people and within ten years moved to a Church building with a seating capacity of 650 people. The vision of the Pastors has always focused on growth and the development of humanity, as a whole. God has used the Pastors faith as an ingredient towards the growth and expansion of their ministry. The Pastors have founded a Bible Institute and Christian Academy to help establish the gospel in the hearts and the minds of the people.







The vision carries on with the next home of the ministry, The Miracle of Domes that will have a seating capacity of 2500 people. The Pastors envision a ministry that will focus on community issues, such as family counseling, senior citizen care, drug and alcohol abuse and a teen recreation center, to name a few.

Pastor Ford is a Graduate of World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio.  He is ordained under Pastor Rod Parsley and he is the Regional Director of World Harvest Ministerial Alliance for the State of New Mexico.  The Pastors also evangelize the nations throughout the world and travel deep into the Navajo Reservation to bring words of encouragement to help fulfill the needs of the people.
